'The vicious and spurious online attacks against me are b*******': Armie Hammer breaks his silence and confirms he is dropping out of his latest film after 'leaked' 'cannibalism and rape messages'

Armie Hammer has broken his silence after disturbing messages about rape fantasies, BDSM and cannibalism he allegedly sent to a woman were leaked last week.  The Social Network star also confirmed he was dropping out of his latest film - Shotgun Wedding with Jennifer Lopez - after the news was first reported earlier on Wednesday.  He said in a statement to 'I'm not responding to these b******* claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic.'  He added: 'Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I'm grateful to them for that.'  A Wednesday report from Page Six claimed that the actor was exiting the project, with production spokesperson saying: 'Given the imminent start date of 'Shotgun Wedding,' Armie has requested to step away from the film and we support him in his decision.' NY Attorney General Letitia James sues NYPD and its leadership for 'excessive, brutal and unlawful' handling of 'overwhelmingly peaceful' Black Lives Matter protests last year

New York Attorney General Letitia James is suing the New York City Police Department and its leadership over their ‘excessive, brutal and unlawful’ handling of Black Lives Matter protests last year. As part of the filing, James is requesting the police department installs a federal monitor to oversee their policing tactics. The ‘landmark’ suit, filed in the Southern District of New York on Thursday, names Police Commissioner Dermot Shea, Chief of Department Terence Monahan and Mayor Bill de Blasio as defendants. Armie Hammer's ex-girlfriend says he was into 'master-slave fetishes' and told her he wanted to break and eat her ribs, she told in an exclusive interview.  Courtney Vucekovich, a Dallas-based app founder, said she met Hammer in June through mutual friends, and from the beginning he was 'intoxicating'. 'He's a very charming, intense human being. But once you start talking to him, he's pretty aggressive right from the start. Not violent, but just sexually aggressive in the way he speaks,' she said. 'He's magnetic, but that has helped him get away with this stuff. He's a very charming, larger-than-life personality. He's very affectionate, he makes you feel very safe and kind of on top of the world. Then little by little it gets deeper and darker. 'He kind of gets obsessed with you. At first you feel really safe, and then it gets a little strange. And then it gets more and more, and little by little you're like '
