Woke Ben & Jerry's is slammed by Israeli leaders for 'surrendering to terrorism and anti-Semitism' for refusing to sell its ice-cream in West Bank and East Jerusalem, calling it 'occupied Palestinian territory'

Ben & Jerry's said it will stop selling its ice cream in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem, saying the sales in the territories sought by the Palestinians are 'inconsistent with our values.' The announcement on Monday by the Vermont-based ice cream company was slammed by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, a former leader of the West Bank settlement movement who called it 'an immoral decision and I believe that it will turn out to be a business mistake, too.' Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also slammed the decision, tweeting that: 'Now we Israelis know which ice cream NOT to buy'.  The company informed its longstanding licensee - responsible for manufacturing and distributing the ice cream in Israel - that it will not renew the license agreement when it expires at the end of next year, according to a statement posted on the Vermont-based company's website. Terrifying moment two gunmen tie up Brazilian bikini shop owner before robbing her store

A 28-year-old woman had her hands tied up and her mouth duct taped by two men who robbed her bikini shop in Brazil on Saturday. Juliana Ribeiro said she normally would keep the door locked at her downtown Cuiabá location and primarily allowed women only to enter her store, according to online news portal G1. But on Saturday, Ribeiro allowed one of the men to enter the shop after he claimed he was there to purchase a bikini for his wife. She then forgot to lock the door behind her - giving the other alleged thief access as well.   'When he arrived I asked him what (he wanted) because I don't usually open the door to men,' Ribeiro said. 'He said he wanted to buy a bikini for his wife. So, I opened it to see him.' Juliana Ribeiro attempts to run from two thieves who robbed her bikini shop in Cuiabá, Brazil, on Saturday. The suspects beat her, tied her hands behind her back, and duct taped her mouth before escaping with a radio, $951 in merchandise, and her car, which

When she was kidnapped and raped at a luxury Portuguese villa Lauren dreamed up an ingenious SOS to save her life. Now, as the monster who abducted her is jailed, she bravely tells her spine-chilling story

Ordeal: Lauren Caton The scene could easily come from a dark Hollywood thriller. A busy shopping centre on a Saturday afternoon, where a waiter from a fast-food restaurant is taking a break outside. Suddenly a young woman walks past — she's the same woman he saw earlier with an abusive customer who'd sworn and ranted at him over some minor issue with his order. She makes eye contact, before suddenly dropping a screwed-up paper towel on the table, which then tumbles onto the floor and lands at his feet. He opens it and reads the following disturbing words: 'Don't make a scene but I am a missing person. Please call police. Please act normal, don't say anything, just call police.' Is this a joke? He thinks back to the bully and the cowed, silent girl who'd been at his side. He makes the call. No, this isn't an imagined script, it actually happened. And the young woman — Lauren Caton, a 19-year-old British girl, just weeks into a foreign adventure working in

Did Harry's pal George Clooney introduce him to his ghostwriter? Pulitzer-winning author is currently working with Hollywood legend on film project about his own life

The author ghostwriting Prince Harry's new book is J.R. Moehringer, a Pulitzer-winning journalist and writer who previously worked with Andre Agassi and the co-founder of Nike on their own money-spinning memoirs.  It's unclear how the pair were put in touch but it's possible Harry was introduced to him by George Clooney, who is turning Moehringer's own memoir, The Tender Bar, into a movie next year.  Harry and Meghan are friends with George and Amal Clooney. The Clooney's gave Meghan a ride on a private jet back from America to London in 2019 after Archie's baby shower.  They attended Harry and Meghan's wedding and 'had dinners' with the pair when they were still living in the UK.  Clooney is directing The Tender Bar, a film adaptation of Moehringer's 2004 memoir. The film stars Ben Affleck and will be released next year.   Harry has been working on the book for the last year and a first draft is due by October.  Penguin Random House has purchase

Ex-Chicago Cubs star Ben Zobrist's estranged wife Julianna is demanding he pay her  $4million as part of their messy divorce settlement because she claims he gave up his career and lost out on his contract after she had an affair with their Tennessee pastor. Ben and Julianna Zobrist, who each filed for divorce in May 2019 after 14 years of marriage, are scheduled to face court next month in what has become a long-running and public matter.
