Packers legend Brett Favre stars in new PSA warning parents about the dangers of CTE and urging them against enrolling their kids in tackle football until they're 14

Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre is continuing to push for an end to youth tackle football in a new public service announcement in which he warns about the long-term dangers of chronic traumatic encephalopathy. 'Having kids play before high school is just not worth the risk,' Favre said in a statement for the Concussion Legacy Foundation, which is aiming to reduce to the risk of CTE by encouraging children to play flag football prior to enrolling in high school. Boston University researchers found in 2020 that each year of playing tackle football increases the odds a player will develop CTE by 30 percent, and a new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said those who play tackle football are 15 times more likely to suffer a head injury in a game or practice. Dad, 31, is charged with murdering his girlfriend, 26, and nearly killing their four young children by driving into oncoming traffic after 'talking to God'

A Los Angeles man allegedly murdered his girlfriend and nearly killed their four children by driving into wrong-way traffic and crashing into a tractor trailer on a California highway after telling his brother-in-law that 'he had to give his family to God' and that the government was after him.  Prosecutors say Cesar Iban Torres, 31, crashed the family's white 2003 Lincoln Navigator head-on into a semi-truck on the 101 Freeway in Encino, a neighborhood north of Los Angeles, last Thursday with the intent to kill his girlfriend, 26-year-old Aimee Garcia, and their children.      Torres faces numerous charges including murder, attempted murder, child abuse and assault with a deadly weapon.  The uninjured dad was tased by cops after resisting arrest and trying to attack members of the California Highway Patrol, reported NBC Los Angeles. Pete Buttigieg, 39, announced on Tuesday that he and husband Chasten, 32, are now fathers as they complete the adoption process.  'For some time, Chasten and I have wanted to grow our family,' the Transportation secretary tweeted. 'We're overjoyed to share that we've become parents!' 'The process isn't done yet and we're thankful for the love, support, and respect for our privacy that has been offered to us. We can't wait to share more soon,' Buttigieg continued. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan opened the Tuesday press briefing by addressing Monday's chaos at Kabul's airport that produced images including what looked to be people falling to their deaths from departing aircraft. At the time, she was seven months pregnant with his child. On the night of the murder, her seven-year-old son ran into the room before he was also killed.  Barbee then took their bodies to a wooded area where he buried them in a shallow grave.    He was convicted after a three-day trial in 2006, though he has maintained his innocence, having filed multiple petitions and having had a 2019 appeal rejected by the state. The BBC's Young Composer of the Year 2012 winner has avoided jail after stealing images of women from social media and uploading doctored versions to pornographic sites. Alexander Woolf, 26, from Cambridge, downloaded images of 15 women and uploaded them to Reddit threads with sexually explicit and derogatory comments, the Crown Prosecution Service said. He encouraged users of the online community platform to paste the victims' faces onto the bodies of porn actresses before posting the doctored pictures on adult sites. None of the original images were pornographic or indecent, the CPS said. All of the women were acquaintances of Woolf.
