One of the surviving sons of killer Mick Philpott has revealed he plans to change his name so people will not associate him with his father. Fourteen-year-old Aidan, 'locked himself in his room' during Philpott's trial, according to his mother Heather Kehoe. Philpott fathered two children with Ms Kehoe before he set up home with a wife and a mistress. Ms Kehoe told Closer magazine her son was concerned people would think he was 'like his father', but she said her son was a 'good lad', the Daily Star reports. She said: 'He has been spending a lot of time in his room crying. 'My son hates Philpott. As far as he's concerned he's dead.' Father of 17 Philpott, who was sentenced to life imprisonment at Nottingham Crown Court last week for kthe manslaughter of six of his children, is at high security Wakefield Prison, where he is reported to be on suicide watch. A deaf student has admitted to slashing 14 of his schoolmates in a stabbing spree across his Texas college campus today - telling police he had fantasies of stabbing people to death since elementary school.
