New homeowner discovers unexploded 16lb bomb from WWII

When Henry Southall collected the keys to his new home he didn't expect to find an unexploded bomb from the Second World War in a kitchen cupboard. The 24-year-old was giving his parents the guided tour of the house in Borth y Gest, near Porhmadog, in north west Wales, when he found the 16lb artillery shell which was packed with high explosives. Mr Southall, the owner of Sea View Tea Rooms which is six doors away from his new property, said: 'I had only just got the keys to my house on Friday so thought I'd start some work on it. State officials refuse to release welfare benefit information

The governor of Massachusetts has signaled that the state will not release further information about welfare benefits paid out to Boston Marathon bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Gov.
