Fears another 10 crew members on board a ship anchored off Australia could have coronavirus - as infected Filipinos are quarantined in a hotel but authorities insist there won't be an outbreak in vulnerable indigenous communities

Another 10 crew from an international cargo ship moored off Western Australia's north-west coast are expected to test positive to coronavirus, amid growing fears the outbreak could spread to the mainland. Nine crew members from iron ore bulk carrier Patricia Oldendorff moored nine nautical miles off Port Hedland have tested positive in recent days, with cases expected to climb on Monday.  Seven infected crew remain on board while 12 crew were transferred to a makeshift hotel quarantine facility in Port Hedland, sparking fears the virus may spread through the port and mining town and into nearby Indigenous communities.  Health minister Roger Cook said the local community should not be worried, despite admitting a day earlier there was a risk of a massive outbreak similar to Melbourne's second wave if it can't be contained. McDonald's customer reveals secret hack to buy a cheeseburger for half the price – but workers will HATE you for it

A McDonald's customer has revealed a sneaky hack for buying a cheeseburger for half price. Josh Garlepp filmed his journey through a McDonald's drive-thru in Perth, Western Australia, and posted it to TikTok on Sunday.  In the video, he asked a restaurant employee whether he could add a slice of cheese to his hamburger, valued at $1.50.  McDonald's cheeseburgers are priced at $3.55 - more than double the cost of a hamburger - but the only difference between the two is a single slice of cheese. In the video, he asked a restaurant employee whether he could add a slice of cheese to his hamburger, valued at $1.50 'Sorry I'm not allowed to do that,' the worker responded, 'Can I get cheese on the side then?' he asked. The staff member agreed and gave the social media user an extra box  cheese on the side for an extra 20c. Mr Garlepp revealed he paid $1.80 for the DIY cheeseburger, saving $1.75. The footage then showed the social media user eagerly putting th

Tory heartlands will have to find space for 1.5million new homes under Government's 'mutant' planning algorithm

The traditionally Conservative heartlands will have to find space for 1.5million new homes under the Government's 'mutant' planning algorithms. The plans will require tens of thousands of extra homes over the next 15 years to be built in rural counties like Kent, Surrey and Devon.  Tory MPs who have been left unimpressed with the proposals have pinned the blame on a 'mutant algorithm'.  The initiative will see an additional five million homes built across England over the next 15 years, with nearly a third in rural counties. According to analysis by the House of Commons library, the target is two million more than that which was previously agreed upon by local councils.  Writing for The Telegraph, Tory MP Bob Seely said: 'We all agree we need to build housing, but we need to build the right housing in the right places. 'The key fact is this: cities across England are being asked to build relatively less compared with the rural and suburban areas around them.
