Weather experts are predicting Britain will be battered by up to five named storms this winter, amid warnings that temperatures are set to plunge this week. The 900 mile-wide 'Atlantic Torment' is on its way, with experts warning the first storm of the season, named Aiden, could hit as early as Wednesday. Storms named Bella, Christoph, Darcy and Evert could follow over winter, according to the Met Office.
