Man wanted for the rape and murder of a nine-year-old girl is beaten to death by a mob of 500 angry residents in Argentina

A mob of angry residents beat a man to death before handing him over to the police, who were searching for him after he allegedly raped and murdered a nine-year-old girl in northern Argentina. Video footage posted on social captured the shocking moment José Guaymas was being kicked while he was lying on the ground Wednesday evening in the San Miguel de Tucumán town of El Manantial. Authorities had been looking for the 25-year-old who was accused of killing Abigail Riquel on Saturday.  Tucumán Regional police chief Ricardo Fresneda told Los Primeros TV that as many as 500 people participated in beating Guaymas, who was naked and unconscious when officers arrived at the scene. Some of the residents reportedly tried setting Guaymas on fire while others attacked him with machetes. Southwest Airlines has announced it will sell every available seat on flights starting December 1, joining United and American in a bid to increase revenue.  The airline had been keeping open middle seats on many flights to enable social distancing among passengers however the company warned on Thursday that until a COVID-19 vaccine was made widely available, passenger traffic would remain fragile.  Southwest referenced recent medical research about the coronavirus showing that the combination of air filtration on airplanes combined with face masks 'make the risk of breathing COVID-19 particles on an airplane is virtually non-existent.' The Canary Islands, the Greek island of Mykonos, the Maldives and Denmark were tonight added to Britain's quarantine-free travel list.  Arrivals from the four areas will no longer face a 14-day quarantine from Sunday after Covid-19 cases fell to acceptable levels, the Department for Transport said.
