The previously unrecorded painting from circa 1809 shows idyllic 'Constable country' on the Essex-Suffolk border. It features a windmill in Brantham which belonged to his father Golding Constable, who also owned the mills at Flatford and Dedham. The same panorama features in his famous painting 'Dedham Vale, Morning' which he exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1811. The 10.5ins by 17ins artwork passed through the hands of the famous 19th century art the Leggatt Brothers, who had a close link with the Constable family. Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe died days after failing to contact his ex-wife Sonia in string of phone calls as its revealed he will be buried near his hometown at funeral paid for by friend

The Yorkshire Ripper had repeatedly failed to contact his ex-wife through a series of desperate phonecalls just days before he died.   Peter Sutcliffe, who killed at least 13 women and attacked several others, died on Friday after contracting coronavirus following a heart attack. Sutcliffe had complained to fellow prisoners that he could not reach his former partner Sonia, 70, who still owns the house they had bought together.  The Sun reports that Sutcliffe told an inmate the day before he was hospitalised: 'I just tried to ring Sonia but no answer. She must be staying down at the flat and not come back yet. 'He will have her slaving about and cleaning everything, you know. Well, that's her fault, she shouldn't be so daft — she should make him pull his socks up.' A source who regularly spoke to the Ripper said Sutcliffe had grown 'increasingly frustrated' that he could not contact Sonia in his final weeks, which 'ate away at him'. On the outside: S

'We ARE seeing a slow down in the rate of growth': Office for National Statistics confirms 'good news' as UK records 168 new Covid deaths and 24,962 cases - up 21% on last week

Britain's coronavirus growth rate is 'slowing' according to the head of the Office for National Statistics, as the country records a further 168 Covid deaths and 24,962 new cases.  Today's death toll is a rise of just 7.7 per cent on the 156 deaths reported last Sunday in a hopeful sign that fatalities may be flattening out.    The total number of cases reported today is 21 per cent higher than the figure recorded last Sunday.  However, today's case load is one of the lower numbers seen this week after the Government recorded 26,860 positive tests yesterday, 27,301 on Friday and a massive 33,470 on Thursday. Furthermore, ONS figures released this week showed that while daily case totals have been increasing recently, they are doing so at a slower rate than previous weeks. Figures are usually lower on Sunday and Monday due to reporting delays over the weekend.  Earlier today, the head of the ONS said that growth in infections is 'slowing' too.  Professor Sir

Trump FINALLY admits Biden won the election in Sunday morning tweet storm only to then post 'l concede NOTHING' - as Giuliani claims to have evidence that 'corrupt machines' deleted millions of votes

Donald Trump appeared to finally concede to Joe Biden in a tweet Sunday, but he and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani quickly clarified that he still believes he is the rightful winner and the election was 'stolen' by Democrats. Giuliani told Fox News that President Trump was being 'sarcastic' when he finally admitted via Twitter that Biden has won the election more than a week after most major outlets called him the winner. When Fox' Maria Bartiromo asked the president's lawyer Sunday morning if Trump's tweet was a concession to Biden, Giuliani said, 'No, far from it.' What he's saying is more, I guess, you would call it sarcastic, or a comment on the terrible times in which we live, in which the media has said he won, but by going on to point out that it was illegal,' Giuliani continued. 'Obviously, he's contesting it vigorously in the courts.' Trump tweeted in reference to his Democratic rival Sunday morning: 'He won because the Ele
