The advice offered by Boris Johnson on having a safe 'little' Christmas this year  England's chief medical officer Chris Whitty delivered the stark warning tonight that Christmas mixing will lead to more coronavirus deaths in the new year, as he declared 'this is not a moment to relax at all'. Professor Whitty bluntly stated that the virus will kill more Britons due to the looser rules over the five-day break between December 23 and 27, and likened the situation to driving at 70mph on an icy road - saying that while it was legal, it was not 'sensible'.
