Christmas plans have been thrown into chaos with families travelling from Sydney's Northern Beaches to Victoria now told they need to self isolate for 14 days.  Premier Daniel Andrews said anyone who visited the region in Sydney's north since Friday December 11 must self isolate and get tested.  He is now urging anyone in Victoria who has been in the Northern Beaches since Friday to also isolate and get tested. Anyone hoping to enter the state after midnight on Thursday from the infected area has been told they must get tested and quarantine in their home or accommodation for 14 days. A herd of farmyard animals caused chaos at a city hall and chased officials after escaping from a farm. CCTV footage shared on social media shows the sheep, goat and three lambs raiding Nevsehir City Hall in Turkey at 8.24am on Monday.  The livestock ran up the city hall's steps and chased security guards working there before they were captured. 400 global religious leaders call for a ban on gay conversion therapies

Nearly 400 global religious leaders called for countries to overturn bans on same-sex relations and end LGBT+ conversion therapy today. The declaration has been signed by faith leaders from 35 countries, including anti-apartheid campaigner Desmond Tutu and the Bishop of Liverpool. Signatories also include representatives of the world's main religions, and former Irish President Mary McAleese, a prominent member of the Roman Catholic Church. A baggage handler has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 27 years for the 'unimaginably savage' murder of his British Airways host lover. Jayesh Gobar, 36, was convicted by a jury at Hove Crown Court of the murder of 58-year-old Nelly Myers at her home in Rotherfield, near Crowborough, East Sussex, on December 17 last year. Judge Christine Laing QC told the court that Gobar, from Crawley, West Sussex, attacked the mother-of-two after becoming enraged when she would not give him money to fund his drug habit. She told Gobar: 'What is clear is that Nelly Myers would not give you any money and, in order to get it from her over the next one hour and a quarter, you subjected her to a prolonged and savage attack.
