A Fort Bliss soldier has died while on he was on holiday leave this week, just days after a servicewoman's death on the base. Private First Class Nylyn Eady, 19, was found dead in Converse, Texas, on Monday, sparking an investigation by local police. Eady served as an intelligence analyst with the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team. He joined the US Army in July 2019 from Odenton, Maryland.
