Violent clashes broke out Saturday afternoon in downtown Portland between right and left wing activists over a Christian prayer event. Members of right-wing group Proud Boys and left wing Antifa demonstrators converged at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park for an event scheduled for noon in downtown Portland by Canadian Protestant Christian preacher Artur Pawlowski. A concerned resident issued an eerie warning urging others to be aware of an aggressive magpie terrorising a local park just days before a baby was tragically killed in a freak swooping incident.   Paramedics were called to Holland Park West, in Brisbane's southeast, at 12.05pm on Sunday after a baby suffered serious injuries during a bird attack.  A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesperson said the mother had been ducking to avoid a magpie when she tripped over with the baby in her arms. A pig farmer has been arrested after performing a flying kick into the back of an animal rights activist in Yorkshire.  Video shared online shows the farmer take a run-up before jumping into the air to kick the protestor as he walks away with his back turned.  Some 50 members of the Meat the Victims group had stormed Willow Farm Products Ltd at Hall Green, Wakefield, on Saturday at around 5am.  It followed a six-month campaign to expose what they claimed to be 'disgusting and inhumane' conditions. After kicking one of the protestors, the 51-second clip shows the farmer screaming: 'Get out! Belarus dictator Alexander Lukashenko lashed out at the UK today, branding Britain 'America's lapdog' as Westminster joined Washington in imposing fresh sanctions on his regime. The 66-year-old strongman raged at western journalists at a press conference in Minsk, telling the UK to 'choke on your sanctions' before adding: 'We didn't know what Britain was for 1,000 years, and we don't want to know it now.'  He added: "You are risking starting World War III," he added. French politicians reacted with fury today after a Rwandan refugee allegedly murdered a Roman Catholic priest who was giving him shelter while on bail for alleged arson. A concerningly long list of new Covid exposure sites has indicated there is no end in sight for New South Wales' growing virus chaos. Five McDonald's, including a busy outlet in Sydney CBD at Wynyard station, were visited by infected customers, as were eight Coles stores and seven Woolworths. An entire apartment block in western Sydney was also added to the city's relentlessly growing coronavirus exposure list as well as several venues in Newcastle.  Just as the fresh list of 72 close and casual contact sites were published on Monday night, the NSW Health website briefly crashed leaving residents unable to check if they'd been affected.
