She may be one of the most famous faces in Manchester, but actress Helen Worth tied the knot in London on Saturday.
The Coronation Street actress was seen arriving at St. James' Church, in Piccadilly, wearing a rather unique wedding dress.
Helen, 62, wore an elegant silver dress as she prepared to wed London music teacher Trevor Dawson.
Lovely day: Helen's dress was made partly from satin and partly from sheer lace
The soap star was warmly greeted by a large crowd of Corrie fans who had waited patiently outside the church to wish her well.
As she stepped out of her chauffeur driven car carrying a small bouquet of flowers Helen was beaming as the crowd cheered at her.
Carrying her own train the award winning actress looked lovely in the satin gown which featured lace sleeves and neck.
Trevor, 55, arrived earlier in the afternoon and took time to have his photograph taken before going inside the church.
The couple are expected to have their reception round the corner at the glamorous Ritz hotel.
A friend told The People at the time: 'She wants every detail to be perfect for her big day'.
Along with having been married once before in real life, Helen has also been wed five times onscreen so she must be somewhat of an expert on wedding ceremonies by now.
Great support: Michelle Collins and Jane Danson were just two of Helen's co-stars to turn up
Party time: Elaine Page and Coronation Street actress Alison King looked lovely as they arrived at the venue
Gail first wed in the soap in 1978 when she married car mechanic Brian Tilsley.
She then re-married him after divorcing over an affair, before going on to tie the knot with Martin Platt and evil murderer Richard Hillman.
Her last marriage was to Joe McIntyre in 2010 but after he made her a widow for the third time she appears to have given up on marriage for now.
Guests on the big day included friends and family as well as a number of Corrie stars such as Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Tilsley, and Michelle Collins, who plays Stella Price.
