She spent her teen years playing the role of a magic-wielding student in the fantasy fiction series Harry Potter.
But now she’s filling the role of a real-life story of money-hungry teens who tried to make their fantasy life a reality.
Emma Watson swapped her magic wand for a gun in scenes images released Saturday for the upcoming film, The Bling Ring.
In the new stills, Emma is seen doing everything from casually holding a shotgun in her hand, picking through a jewellery box, dancing seductively in a smoky club, rolling a cigarette in bed and eventually landing in court.
This is quite the turn for the actress, as she’s even admitted to hating her character in the film.
Despite loathing everything her character stood for, she seemed to slip into a sexier image with ease.
Her long hair cascades in the stills, and Emma slinked around on the club dance floor as if she’s had practise.
The Bling Ring, also starring Leslie Mann, Taissa Farmiga, Erin Daniels and Israel Broussard, is set to release in the U.S. on June 14 of this summer.
The actress was also seen strolling around the streets of New York City on Saturday with a friend.
In an ensemble true to Emma's personal style, she looked effortlessly chic wrapped up in a black trench coat, a creme knit scarf, black leggings and ballet flats.
