She is well known for her yo-yo dieting ways and fluctuating figure.
But it seems that Mischa Barton takes body image all in her stride.
The actress was seen proudly showing off what appeared to be some newly acquired curves as she picked up a healthy juice in Los Angeles on Monday.

The former OC star turned handbag designer wore a pair of very short ripped Daisy Dukes for the outing.
But the attire in question appeared a tad too short, just managing to cover her derriere.
The actress also drew more attention to her legs by wearing a pair of stand-out studded Chloe ankle boots on her feet.

When she appeared on The OC as Marissa Cooper from 2003-2006 she was known for her lithe frame.
Back in 2009, Mischa was sporting a much fuller figure during the opening of the Harrods sale but sources claimed her face was swollen because she had had a wisdom tooth removed.
The look was a complete turnaround from her appearance earlier that year where she looked frail and gaunt after dropping from a healthy size 12 to a size 6-8.

Most recently she has looked much healthier and has sported a more curvacious figure in recent months.

In the film, she plays a high-school guidance counselor trying to solve the murder of a bullied high schooler who was killed in a car accident.

Mischa said she really loved working with the late Michael Clarke Duncan, who plays the school’s principal.
'He was such a gentle guy and such a sweet guy,' she told Entertainment Weekly.
'Every time he was on set, we had good laughs and good vibes. It’s tragic. He was just such a nice guy. Nobody could say anything negative about Michael. We were so lucky to have him.'
The English-born actress has a never say never attitude about returning to the small screen.

After The OC and after The Beautiful Life, I felt the need to say "No" for a second and just do film,' said Mischa.
'But if the right role comes along now in television, absolutely. It’s not where I started. I started in theater and in film so I went back to the roots.
'And there’s a good chance I’ll be doing some off Broadway this year in New York. I don’t really limit myself.'
