LeAnn Rimes wants to star in a sitcom.
The 30-year-old singer is reportedly shopping around a comedy series based on her real life and hopes to star in the show alongside her actor husband of two years Eddie Cibrian, 39.
A source told UsMagazine.com: '(They) have been shopping around a scripted comedy based on their lives together. They would play versions of themselves, kind of like on "Curb Your Enthusiasm."'
But LeAnn and Eddie have decided not to feature his sons with Brandi, Mason, nine, and Jake, six, on the show.
The source said: 'Mason and Jake are not involved. If kids end up being on it, they would be played by actors -- not Eddie's children.'
Another friend close to the couple said: 'They've met with a few networks. Nothing is finalised yet, but they're seeing where the show could go.'
LeAnn recently admitted that her relationship with 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Brandi is still strained following her affair with Eddie and claimed that her stepchildren sometimes call her 'mom'.
She said: 'Do I wish I handled it differently? Absolutely. No one wants to hurt anyone or put themselves through hurt.
'I think the only other thing we could've done would have been to get out of our marriages before anything happened.
'It was tough, and it all happened very fast. I felt so ashamed and guilty.'
