Newly promoted Doncaster have announced that Paul Dickov will succeed Bryan Flynn as manager .
Dickov, whose last job resulted in being harshly sacked by Oldham in February, will take over from the 57-year-old who has moved into the position of Director of Football.
New boss: Dickov has been confirmed as the manager of newly-promoted DoncasterAfter previous boss Dean Saunders left for Wolves mid-season, Flynn took temporary control to help steer Rovers towards the League One title.
Dickov is expected to work in tandem with Flynn and is hopeful of bringing in Brian Horton as an assistant.
Oldham sacked Dickov with the Latics just a point off relegation from League One three months ago, very shortly after the 40-year-old led his Oldham side to a shock victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup.
