Rumors that the Miami Dolphins may be considering a role for Tim Tebow are not true, says a May 2 report from the Chicago Tribune.
Since his release from the New York Jets roster, Tebow has been the talk of the town. Some rumors had him joining the Canadian Football League. The most recent set of Internet chatter has suggested that the Miami Dolphins were looking to pick up Tebow, who's been cleared on waivers. That's not the case, say sources from within the Dolphins organization.
The Dolphins report that Tebow has not practiced with the team, nor has he had a team physical. While the team won't rule out that they'd ever talk with Tebow, they say there is currently no activity going on in that regard.
While Tebow has continued NFL hopes and dreams, they apparently will not be fulfilled with the Miami Dolphins at this point in time.
