Troll Trump retweets edited video of Biden, 77, playing 'F***k the police' at Hispanic Heritage Month alongside Eva Longoria and Ricky Martin - when he actually played 'Despacito'

Donald Trump trolled Joe Biden with a tweet of a video edited to show him dancing to F*** the Police by N.W.A. - after the Democrat actually danced to Despacito.

The president tweeted: 'What is this all about?' over the video late Tuesday, which was made by a 'parody/satire channel' which produces pro-Trump memes.

Then on Wednesday morning he tweeted it again, this time saying: 'China is drooling. They can't believe this!'

The attack came after Trump retweeted that Biden was a 'pedo' on Tuesday, and said at the weekend that he felt free to be 'vicious' about his rival.

Trump's N.W.A. tweet was flagged as 'manipulated media' by Twitter but the video was not removed. Biden backers called for it to be taken down by the platform.

Biden had been mocked by Trump supporters for pulling out his phone and playing the hit song 'Despacito' at a Hispanic campaign event in Florida late Tuesday.

A grinning Biden played the song on his phone after being introduced by its Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi at the event in Tampa, as the Democratic nominee seeks Hispanic backing in one of the chief battleground states.

But critics accused Biden of 'pandering' and mocked him for playing a song whose title translates as 'Slowly' - evoking Trump's nickname 'Slow Joe'.

Biden played the song as he took to the stage after Luis Fonsi to deliver a speech at a Hispanic Heritage Month event in Kissimmee.

The video showed Biden dancing cheerfully to the song before stating: 'I'll tell you what - if I had the talent of any one of these people, I'd be elected president by acclamation.'

The president has previously hit out at his opponent, claiming that Biden supports defunding the police, which Biden has said he does not.

The F*** tha Police troll appears to be part of an attempt by Trump to ramp up attacks on Biden.

He also tweeted a video from a Q Anon supporting account taking aim at Biden for calling him a 'climate arsonist' in a speech on Monday, showing a doctored version of the speech with arsonists setting fire to grass behind the Democratic candidate.

It was an apparent reference to claims that arson, not climate change, has been responsible for some of the wildfires in West Coast states.

And on Saturday Trump angrily tweeted that a Biden campaign ad based on The Atlantic's report that he called soldiers 'sucker' and 'losers' was 'vicious' and 'a made up lie' then told a rally of supporters in Minden, Nevada: 'You know the good part? Now I can be really vicious. Once I saw that ad, I don't have to be nice anymore.'

Since then he has retweeted a series of attacks from supporters, including one on Tuesday calling Biden a 'pedo' over a picture of him with former defense secretary Ash Carter's wife Stephanie when her husband was being sworn in in 2015.

The picture has become a popular anti-Biden meme for appearing to show inappropriate touching by Biden, although Stephanie Carter spoke out in 2019 to say that it was misleading and that the then-vice president was showing her support.

He also used an interview with Fox and Friends on Tuesday to repeat his claim that Biden is on 'drugs.'

In recent days Trump has stepped up the volume of his tweets and retweets.

The producer of the meme, United Spot, had urged its followers to tag Trump and his caddy-turned social media director Dan Scavino in the hope of getting the video tweeted.

When Trump did, the account tweeted: 'Words cannot express how truly happy we are at this moment In time. True feelings of happiness and an overwhelming feeling of joy. Our hero President shared one of our videos and that is one of the most amazing feelings ever. Thank you so much.'

This was Biden's first trip to Florida as the nominee, as he launched an urgent mission to boost support among Latinos who could decide the election in one of the nation's fiercest battleground states.

Even before Trump's retweet, Biden was facing some backlash for the real video where 'Despacito' was used.

'Oh my,' wrote CBS News political correspondent Ed O'Keefe.

'Does @JoeBiden realize that Despacito means 'slowly'? Fits well with Slow Joe,' added senior advisor to the Trump-Pence campaign Mercedes Schlapp.

Another viewer said: 'Joe Biden pandering to the Latino vote by playing Despacito is cringey.'

Trump 2020 Campaign senior advisor Steve Cortes tweeted: 'Joe Biden steps to the podium and plays Despacito from his phone. I wonder why he's struggling with Hispanics?!'

Twitter user Vince Dao tweeted: 'A pathetically cringe level of straight-up racist pandering b*llshit from Joe Biden Joe enters a Hispanic heritage event and literally, I kid you not, whips out his phone and plays Despacito. Is this guy fr for ? Not even SNL could make up something this dumb WTF!'

Another Twitter user joked: 'Thank goodness he decided against the sombrero.'

Joe Biden supporters hit out at Twitter for failing to take down the video and demanded the platform act against Donald Trump

A win for Biden in Florida would dramatically narrow Trump's path to re-election.

But in a state where elections are often decided by a percentage point, there are mounting concerns Biden may be slipping, particularly with the state's influential Latino voters.

'More than any other time, the Hispanic community, Latino community holds in the palm of their hand the destiny of this country,' Biden said during Tuesday's event.

'You can decide the direction of this country.'

He was joined by several supporters including actress Eva Longoria, and singers Ricky Martin and Luis Fonsi.

An NBC-Marist poll released last week found Latinos in the state were roughly evenly divided between Biden and Trump.

Democrat Hillary Clinton led Trump by a 59 percent to 36 percent margin among Latinos in the same poll in 2016 — and Trump won Florida by about 1 percentage point.

To regain lost ground, Biden made the case on Tuesday that he would be a better president for Hispanics than Trump, touting his commitment to immigration reform and a new plan to support Puerto Rico's economy.

'Donald Trump has failed the Hispanic community time and time again, and that's not a secret,' Biden said.

'Whether it's in his heinous act of separating children from their families at our border, or his repeated attacks on Dreamers, or his neglect of the people of Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, or his repeated failures to make sure essential workers have the personal protective equipment they need.'

Still, Hispanic voters in Florida tend to be somewhat more Republican-leaning than Hispanic voters nationwide because of the state's Cuban American population.

Nationally, little public polling is available to measure the opinions of Latino voters this year and whether they differ from four years ago.

But Democrats are taking no chances.

Billionaire Mike Bloomberg has pledged to spend at least $100million to defeat Trump in Florida.

And by spending his day along what is known as the Interstate 4 corridor in central Florida, Biden is devoting time to one of the most critical regions of the state.

While Republicans typically post big numbers in the northern and southwestern parts of the state and Democrats are strong in coastal cities, campaigns typically battle it out for every vote in central Florida.

Biden's first event, in Tampa, focused on veterans and was aimed at pushing a potential opening with military voters, who broadly supported Trump in 2016 but are seen as potentially persuadable because of controversial remarks the president reportedly made mocking American war dead as 'losers' and 'suckers'.

Trump has denied making the remarks, first reported through anonymous sources by The Atlantic, but many of the comments were later confirmed by The Associated Press.

'Nowhere are his faults more glaring and more offensive, to me at least, than when it comes to his denigration of our service members, veterans, wounded warriors who have fallen,' Biden said.

Speaking of his late son Beau, who served overseas as a Delaware Army National Guard member, Biden said, 'He's gone now, but he's no sucker.'

Biden's decision to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in Kissimmee reflects a focus on the state's rapidly growing Puerto Rican community.

Many Puerto Ricans relocated to Florida after Hurricane Maria devastated the island in 2017.
