Doe! Wild deer causes commuter chaos after running wild in Sydney's CBD - forcing drivers to swerve to avoid the panicked animal
A deer has been spotted running amok through Sydney on Thursday morning, keeping commuters on their toes as the animal rushed through the city.
NSW Police issued a warning for city drivers after the deer was spotted near the Anzac Bridge in Pyrmont at about 5.30am.
'Police are seeking specialist assistance from the RSPCA. Anyone who sees the deer is urged not to approach it and call police,' the release reads.
A NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia the deer was still on the loose at 8.15am, with officers at the scene aiding RSPCA officials to capture the deer.

A Taronga Zoo spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia zookeepers were on standby to aid in relocating the deer if they are required.
A Transport Management Centre spokesman told Daily Mail Australia the deer had caused no impact to the road network.
'There have been no road closures or traffic delays from the deer,' they said.
Several listeners contacted 2GB after seeing the deer gallivanting through the city.
'I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The deer ran out in front of the car it was on Regent st hedging towards the old rail line,' caller Rebecca said.
The deer was spotted later in the morning by commuters on a train heading to Central from Redfern
'There was a guy on a bike next to me and it nearly got him.'
The lost deer comes days after two terrified deer who were spotted rampaging through three Sydney suburbs on October 6.
The deer were seen prowling down streets across Leichhardt, Balmain and Annandale in the city's inner-west before they were captured by police.
CCTV footage taken in Coleridge Street in Leichhardt showed the two deer walking one behind another in front of a unit block.
One resident said she saw the animals while driving to the gym at 5.30am, while another reported them entering a residential complex about 7.50am.

The local whose surveillance camera captured the deer's movements at 6.30am told Daily Mail Australia her husband checked the footage after he was awoken to the noise outside.
Another resident wrote in a local community Facebook group she thought she was 'imagining it' when she saw the deer marauding down Mackenzie Street.
'Managed to coax it out the gate as it was really distressed, kept running into the walls and fence,' one resident who found a deer stuck in her apartment building said.
