Footy star Gary Rohan 'moves on with a club staffer' after shock split from wife Amie just months after she gave birth and two years after losing one of their twins - as wild rumours swirl of 'cat fight' with a fellow player

AFL star Gary Rohan and his Geelong Cats teammate Tom Hawkins have been reportedly involved in a 'cat fight' in the wake of his break-up with wife Amie. 

Rohan and Hawkins are said to have had a spat following the break down of his relationship with the social media influencer and mother of his children, the Herald Sun reported.   

Rohan and wife Amie are understood to have split when the 29-year-old star forward moved to the AFL's Gold Coast hub alongside Geelong Football Club teammates in late July.

He has reportedly moved on with a club staffer which has supposedly caused angst in the locker room.

Instead of joining the Geelong squad at the hub in August as other WAGs had done, Ms Rohan stayed behind with young daughters Bella and Sadie Rose at her family's Bellarine Coast home on Victoria's Surf Coast.

Hawkins, a champion forward and Coleman Medal winner, reportedly confronted his teammate about his behaviour, sparking rumours that have rippled through the AFL community.

Rohan has since started a new relationship with a Geelong staffer according to reports. 

The news is said to have polarised the tight-knit community of WAGs who are reportedly ' sharpening their claws'.

Daily Mail Australia contacted Geelong on Saturday evening but the club was unable to respond in time for publication. 

Despite the rumoured tensions, the club made it all the way to the Grand Final before losing to the Richmond Tigers at the Gabba, in Brisbane, on October 24 by 81 to 50.

Rohan's marriage to Ms Rohan ended just months after the birth of their third child, Sadie Rose, in March.

Ms Rohan shared a cryptic message about 'being strong' despite the 'actions of another' on Monday.

'Please be strong in who you are and please don't let the actions of another convince you that you are not good enough as you are,' she posted to more than 40,000 followers on Instagram.  

Ms Rohan's post has since been inundated with supportive comments including sports presenter Erin Molan and former WAG Abby Gilmore.

Ms Rohan was just 12 weeks through her first pregnancy when she first learned one of her babies would not survive.

Her daughter was diagnosed with anencephaly, a congenital disorder in which a major part of the baby's brain fails to develop.

The mum's delivery of the twins on April 12, 2018 was marked with both joy and pain after the new parents were forced to say goodbye to Willow Nevaeh, just five hours after she was born.

The couple labelled the birth the 'most bittersweet day of their lives'.

Opening up to Harper's Bazaar magazine in October 2018, Ms Rohan said that the couple made the decision to carry both babies to term.

 'We sat down and said, ''This journey has been written for us. Let's continue on it'',' she told the publication.

'We had about five hours with Willow before she passed. In those five hours, I learnt so much about life and how precious it is.'

'Even though her time here was so fleeting, she was a very amazing girl.'

Ms Rohan said said the couple needed time to heal after her first pregnancy but later announced the birth of their daughter Sadie Rose in March this year.

'We welcomed our little daughter into this crazy world yesterday. Sadie Rose Rohan born at 8.27am weighing a petite 2970 grams,' Rohan wrote in March.

The young mum remains at her family's Bellarine Peninsula home, south of Geelong.
