Former Notre Dame basketball player and assistant coach Ryan Ayers is charged with felony voyeurism and misdemeanor battery after 'secretly filming women during sex'
Former Notre Dame men's assistant basketball coach and player Ryan Ayers has been charged with felony voyeurism and domestic battery in Indiana after allegedly recording two women, without their consent, while they were naked or having sex with him.
One of the women has also accused him of hitting her in the face during an altercation in his car, according to charging documents provided to DailyMail.com by St. Joseph County Police.
In total, Ayers is facing four charges: two counts of felony voyeurism, a count of misdemeanor voyeurism, and a count of misdemeanor domestic battery.
Ayers, who has not been arrested, has denied the accusations through his attorney.

'Ryan denies the allegations,' attorney Peter J. Agostino told the South Bend Tribune. 'His defense team is coming together and will vigorously defend him. Ryan looks forward to clearing his name of these false charges.'
Agostino did not immediately responded to DailyMail.com's requests for comment.
Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey addressed Ayers's departure from the school in a statement on Tuesday, saying that it was his decision and not the assistant coach's. Brey declined to specify his reasoning for the move.
'The University and I decided that Ryan was unable to continue in his role to be a leader of young men, so it was necessary to make the staffing change a few months ago,' Brey said. 'This is a personal issue for Ryan and we won't elaborate any further.'
Neither alleged victim is connected to Notre Dame, according to the South Bend Tribune.
Ayers, the son of former Ohio State head coach and current Phoenix Suns assistant Randy, abruptly left the Notre Dame program prior to the 2020-21 season. Ryan Ayers played for the Fighting Irish over four seasons, ending in 2008-09.
The state has requested that Ayers have no contact with the alleged victims, and recommended he be held on $7,500 bond and be given a GPS monitoring device to wear upon his release from jail.

According to the charging documents, Ayers was allegedly in a relationship with each of the women over a four-year span.
The St. Joseph County Cybercrimes Unit was able to access his phone's iCloud account, which contained 'various images of naked women where they seem to be unaware that a photo was being taken of them.'
The women were seen in the shower, asleep in bed, or in a sexual position, according to the filing.
After first refusing to grant Ayers permission to record her during sex, one of the victims claimed she caught him doing so against her wishes. The two later argued about the incident over email, leading Ayers to say that he was 'sorry' that he 'violated' her — an apology that was verified by police.
The other victim, who said she recently ended on a two-year relationship with Ayers, claimed they got into a physical altercation in July in which he struck her in the face, causing her nose to bleed.
That victim, who has since moved away from Indiana, claims she was told by the girlfriend of one of Ayers's friends that he shared naked pictures of her on a group chat.
Police have obtained that phone, but were unable to verify the claim because it is password protected.
