A pad to raise your Dynasty! Joan Collins lists her Manhattan apartment with its 16 closets, three bedrooms, and full-time concierge for $2million

Dame Joan Collins’ New York City pied-Ă -terre, with its 16 closets, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a doorman, concierge, and close proximity to Central Park, is on sale for $2.05million.

The 87-year-old Dynasty star put her eighth-floor, 2,200sq ft co-op apartment, which is three units combined into one, on the market.

The list price is a bargain considering that Collins initially asked for $2.9million back in 2011. A year later, the home was listed for $2.2million.

But the COVID-19 pandemic has upended the New York City real estate market, and the relatively cheap price tag means that the actress is eager to unload the property.

The property, which is located in The Dorchester building nestled among residential skyscrapers on Manhattan’s ‘Billionaires Row’, boasts two master suites in separate wings, according to the real estate agent handling the sale.

The 21-story Dorchester is a post-war building built in 1957.

Located on 57th Street and Park Avenue, The Dorchester is known as a ‘white glove co-op.’

Collins was known to host parties at the residence for other celebrities including her sister, romance novelist Jackie Collins; actress Diahann Carroll; and musicians Michael Feinstein and Neil Sedaka.

‘Every time Neil or Michael told us they’d come, we would rent a piano in the hopes we could persuade them to play a few tunes,’ she said.

‘And I was overwhelmed that they always graciously agreed.’

Collins purchased the property in 2002 just after she was married to her fifth and current husband, film producer Percy Gibson, 56.

It was Gibson who found the residence after an exhaustive search, Collins told The New York Times, and he 'cannily kept this one to the last,' she said.

The actress told the Times that she 'fell in love immediately with the spaciousness of the rooms and the feeling of light and airiness.'

'The clincher for me was the 16 closets it has,' she said.
