Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise's notoriously private daughter Bella shares a rare selfie as she watches the Euro semi-final

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise's daughter Bella has avoided the public eye for most of her adult life.

But the London-based artist, 28, made a rare appearance on social media this week as she tuned into the nail-biting Euro semi-final between England and Denmark.

Posting to Instagram Stories on Wednesday night, the brunette shared a black-and-white video of herself staring into the camera while lying on the bed.

'My face during extra time... fingers crossed,' she wrote next to the clip, adding an English flag emoji. 

Bella's tensions would soon be relieved, however, as England went on to win against the Danes and will head into the Euro final. 

In the video, Bella also gave fans a glimpse at her edgy look, which included winged eyeliner, dark hair and a septum nose ring.

Bella lives in Croydon, a suburb 19 kilometers (12 miles) outside London.   

She married computer programmer Max Parker in a secret ceremony in 2015. 

Nicole did not attend her daughter's wedding, despite being in London performing in a stage show at the time.

She was adopted as a child by her parents, Nicole and Tom, in 1992.

Her biological younger brother, Connor Cruise, now 25, was also adopted by the A-list couple three years later.

She also once told Red magazine: 'Motherhood is about the journey. There are going to be incredible peaks and valleys, whether you are an adopting mother or a birth mother. What a child needs is love.' 

Following her divorce from Tom, Nicole married country singer Keith Urban in 2006. They went on to welcome two daughters, Sunday, 13, and Faith, ten.
