Footy star Josh Reynolds finds love with a young mother-of-two after being burnt by bikini model Arabella Del Busso who 'faked pregnancies' and destroyed his reputation

NRL star Josh Reynolds has moved on from being falsely accused of assault by his pregnancy-faking ex-girlfriend - and found love with a single mum.

The Wests Tigers player was dragged through the courts by WAG-turned-reality TV star Arabella Del Busso last year before all charges were dropped in February.

Reynolds accused her of faking three pregnancies and pretending she had a miscarriage, which she denies, and duping him out of cash.

With all the drama finally behind him, the unlucky-in-love halfback has moved on with Wollongong single mother-of-two Brittany Evans.

The two have been dating for several months and went public last week with a loved-up snap of them on holiday in Toowoon Bay on the NSW Central Coast.

Ms Evans has a young son Cooper and daughter Cora and lists Reynolds as her boyfriend on her social media accounts.

Del Busso has parlayed her infamy into a lucrative reality TV career, most recently appearing on SAS Australia which begins next Monday.

She has denied faking the pregnancies and miscarriages, but admitted the ultrasound she showed him wasn't her.

Reynolds' new relationship will hopefully go better for the Tigers star than the emotional rollercoaster of Del Busso - which isn't her real name.

The 31-year-old met Donna Preuska - her real name - on social media in 2018 and he only saw her once before she claimed to be expecting twins three months later.

'When I got over the first period of shock natural instincts kicked in,' he told 9 News when he opened up about the saga earlier this year.

Reynolds announced her pregnancy by sharing footage of his gender-reveal on social media in December 2018, and said the parents-to-be had set up a nursery.

A video posted to his Instagram page showed Reynolds throwing a West Tigers branded rugby ball covered in spikes at a balloon filled with party confetti.

His excitement soon turned to suspicion when Del Busso failed to ever show him any ultrasound sonograms.

'Every time there was a scan, there was always an excuse. I was going, ''you can't find a baby scan, the photos? This is a bit fishy'',' he said.

The pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, Del Busso told him - and he believed her.

'At that stage I was so into this whole relationship/baby thing. I was hurting so much. It broke me,' an emotional Reynolds said.

'It was the most exciting time of my life and I had feelings for this girl.'

Del Busso soon claimed she was once again pregnant with twins, but then said she suffered yet another miscarriage - which Reynolds addressed to the public last year.

'How do I comfort her when I'm struggling myself,' he said at the time, again believing the pregnancy and miscarriage to be real.

'It's made me deal with something in life that I never thought I'd have to deal with.

'I'm not going to lie, I was pretty excited. That was something in life I've always wanted but I've sort of had to go along the lines that everything happens for a reason. It's the saddest thing ever.'

Del Busso claimed to be pregnant a third time but Reynolds' suspicions were once again raised in August 2019 after she sent him her 12-week ultrasound scans.

'The scan she sent me was off. I went to my mates and showed them and they were like ''mate, that is not a proper scan'',' he told 9 News.

When asked by 60 Minutes if she lied about getting pregnant, Del Busso sheepishly responded: 'I'm denying those claims'.

'Is that a no?,' host Tom Steinfort questioned, to which she replied: 'I didn't say that.

'I'm here to tell you what's actually happened. Especially with headlines, you know people think I'm a psycho, they all think I'm crazy.'

However, Del Busso admitted the third pregnancy's ultrasound didn't belong to her.

'I did because I was being spiteful,' she said.

Reynolds claimed Del Busso doctored photos, and even injected herself with IVF fertility drugs to make herself look pregnant

Reynolds accused Del Busso in court of injecting herself with fertility drugs to make herself look pregnant and better sell the lies.

Reynolds also claims he gave her more than $4,000 after she allegedly claimed her mother had died and needed money for funeral expenses.

After it emerged her mother was in fact alive, Del Busso told 60 Minutes it was the person she considered to be her mother who had died.

Everything came to a head when the pair had an argument, footage of which was leaked by Del Busso, and she had him charged with assault.

Del Busso claimed he attacked her on September 12, 2019, and caused bruising to her right arm and left leg.

Reynolds was not finally vindicated until his lawyers amassed enough evidence to get the charges dropped in February.

Del Busso later claimed to 60 Minutes that the fight was over Reynolds taking nude photos of himself in the bathroom.

'He stark naked, phone down at his genitals,' she said.

The lingerie model said she grabbed Reynolds' phone from the basin before going upstairs 'hoping to see what was in the phone'.

Del Busso filmed the confrontation after a shirtless Reynolds burst back into the bedroom.

Reynolds was seen in the video saying she 'scared the f*** out of me' and asking her to leave.

'Can you get out. Of my house. I want you out now. I want you out now or I'm going to f***ing flip it,' he said.

But Reynolds said he never took nude photos, and revealed he was sitting down while ordering food - a claim that is supported by copies of his Uber Eats history.

'I was literally ordering food. I've got evidence to show that exact time, that exact date food got delivered to my house,' he said.

The 31-year-old said he was ashamed of the video, but would never be violent towards a woman.

'That was me at my absolute worst. That 28 seconds is something I'll never be able to take back in my life,' he said.

Reynolds' lawyers alleged Del Busso only filed her domestic violence complaint - three months later in December 2019 - hours after he sent her a text message claiming he knew about her faked pregnancies.

'I know you have never been pregnant... and all the scans were made up on the internet,' parts of the text message read.

'It's emotional abuse... get out of my life otherwise the police will take action against you.'

Del Busso told 60 Minutes she 'terminated the baby' last December. Reynolds is still not sure that unborn child ever existed.

'Given everything that we've been through, what had happened, I couldn't deal mentally, physically. I couldn't do it,' she said.

Reynolds' lawyers, as part of his defence, tracked down other ex-boyfriends of Del Busso who claimed she duped them out of cash.

'She told me she had cervical cancer. I gave her about $2,500 to $3,000 for her treatment,' one of them told 9 News.

Del Busso is also alleged to have had a medical certificate stating she was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013.

Reynolds' defence team claimed the certificate was fake.

Another former boyfriend, Michael Hayes, was reportedly awarded $7,866 by a Queensland tribunal as reimbursement for money he gave Ms Del Busso which she claimed she needed for a relative's funeral.

Del Busso's mother Isobel Preusker - who is very much alive - said her daughter used numerous fake names like Belladonna Di Donato, Bella Melbourne, and Donna Barcelona.

'It's shocking... I had who knows living with me for however long, and that scares me,' Reynolds told 9 News while reflecting on the saga.

'There's no Netflix series, there's nothing that's as good as her ploy. Like I said before, I feel silly but she played with my emotions, she really did.'

Reynolds said he always wanted to be a father and claimed Del Busso used that to her advantage.

'I've always wanted to be a dad, it's not to be at the moment, but she was smart. She knew what to do,' he added.

'I can stand here and say: Arabella, whatever your name is, you said to me that you're gonna bring me and my mum down, but we're still standing. We're still here.

'You tried to bring me, my family, my mum down and it didn't work.'
