Have you seen this man? Hunt for perverted stranger who tried to drag a woman on an afternoon walk into a nearby park after she rejected his sexual advances
A woman on an afternoon walk has narrowly escaped a potential sexual assault as police now hunt her alleged attacker.
The woman was on a walk in Traralgon, about 160km southeast of Melbourne, when she noticed she was being followed at 6.45pm on Thursday.
Victoria Police said a hooded man with a large dog approached the woman on Whittakers Road and began speaking to her near an underpass bridge.
The woman tried to continue walking but the man grabbed her, made sexual advances and attempted to pull her towards a nearby park.

The woman managed to break free and ran from the attacker.
Central Gippsland Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have released a digital image of a man they wish to speak to about the incident.
The man is believed to be aged in his 20s and Caucasian in appearance.

He was described as having a thin build, bushy eyebrows and dark circles under his eyes.
The man was also wearing a black hooded jumper during the attack.
He was walking a dog believed to be a dark coloured Rottweiler.
