Cops investigating disappearance of missing Colorado mom Suzanne Morphew 'get new information every day' - but wont say what as they mark six months since she was last seen

Police investigating the disappearance of missing Colorado mom Suzanne Morphew say they get 'new information' on the case 'every day'.

In a Facebook post marking six months from when she was last seen Chaffee County Sheriff's Office would not comment on the exact nature of the evidence gathered.

Police noted that Suzanne was last seen by her husband Barry Morphew on May 10.

Chaffee County Sheriff John Spezze said: 'To preserve the integrity of this investigation, we cannot reveal all we have learned nor all that we are doing, but we understand your frustration in wanting this case resolved quickly.  That said, with each day that passes, we learn new information in this case.'

Police say they are working 'closely and tirelessly' with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation , Federal Bureau of Investigation and the 11th Judicial District to find the mom-of-two.

They say there have been 'hundreds of tips reported in this case' and have revealed they are focusing on Suzanne's social media presence as part of the investigation.

Suzanne, 49, has not been seen since Mother's Day, May 10. Her bicycle was later discovered abandoned on a rural track a short distance from her home in Maysville. She is pictured with her husband Barry and two daughters

Police said in their statement Tuesday: 'Investigators say Suzanne kept in touch with friends she loved dearly. They also believe that sometimes in these types of cases that people don't come forward with information for concern that they may get someone in trouble.

'To those who may be fearful to come forward, they can reach out anonymously. Once investigators know your concerns, they can address them.'

Sheriff Spezze added: 'Suzanne is missing. We in law enforcement hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

'The worst-case scenario is that something unlawful occurred, and as such we go about our investigation ensuring we are working within the rules of law and treating everything we learn as potential evidence for court.'

Earlier this month a private dive team aided in the search for the missing mom.

Suzanne was reported missing after daughters Mallory and Macy were unable to contact her. Her bicycle was later discovered abandoned on a rural track a short distance from their home in Maysville.

Barry - who has offered a $100,000 reward for Suzanne's safe return - previously theorized that his wife may have been taken by a wild animal. He now says he believes she was abducted.

Suzanne's brother, Andy Moorman, arrived in Maysville to conduct his own searches for his sister. Andy has blasted Barry for his behavior following Suzanne's mysterious vanishing, implicating him in her disappearance.

'I don't think she ever got on her bike. I think she probably died on May 9 and she was hidden somewhere that night...  I'm afraid this is domestic abuse,' Moorman previously told FOX31.

But in his interview with CBS 4, Barry blasted back, alleging that Andy had been a bad brother to Suzanne and had never shown any interest in her prior to her headline-hitting disappearance.

'I've spent many nights... Suzanne crying on my shoulder, asking why her siblings refuse to show her love,' Barry claimed.
