Beloved dog Bobbie is found by chance near a freeway by kind-hearted strangers three days after fleeing a horror car crash
A beloved family dog has been miraculously found after running away in panic following a horror car crash.
Owners, Lewis and Diane Major were driving with their eight-month-old daughter Sasha and dog Bobbie when they were involved in a collision with a semi-trailer on the South Eastern Freeway, Adelaide over the weekend.
Bobbie, a black Kelpie-cross, became spooked and fled the scene.

The dog became spooked by the accident and ran away despite her owner, Lewis Major , trying to chase her down
She was last seen running away from the car towards Hahndorf as Mr Major chased the dog for a kilometre.
Four days later, Bobbie was spotted by a family friend, Chris Herzfeld, who was driving on the freeway on Wednesday when he spotted a car pulled over to the side and decided to stop and check on them.
To his delight, the people from the car, called Troy and Renee, had stopped to try and coax a frightened dog - which turned out to be Bobbie.
Mr Herzfeld has been looking for the dog in the Adelaide Hills all afternoon.

Daughter, Sasha was very happy to have her furry friend back, who was exhausted and extremely hungry
Upon seeing a friendly face, Bobbie instantly calmed down.
The dog, who hadn't eaten anything in days, drank almost two litres of water and scoffed down half a chicken before she was taken to the vet for a check-up.
Bobbie had miraculously survived with just a small cut on her face.
Mr Major has since thanked everyone for their help in locating their missing dog and the 'angels' who found Bobbie in a Facebook post.
Mr Major and his wife have thanked everyone for their efforts in the search of their beloved dog
'We can’t even begin to express our gratitude and thanks to everyone. To everyone who walked the hills and back trails, who drove around, who liked and shared the posts that eventually got Bobbie back to us,' his post read.
'Our daughter, Sasha, is thrilled to see her. We’re not sure how Bobbie feels about all of the cuddles from Sasha. I think she’d prefer just to sleep.'
Mr Major has sustained fractures and bulging disks as a result from the crash with a splitting headache that has since eased from the return of his beloved dog.
Finding Bobbie was the 'perfect end to a bit of a rough week' for the family
