Mother, 60, is fighting for her life after being viciously beaten by her son, 26, - who hunted her down at work before slamming her head on concrete
A 60-year-old mother remains in a critical condition in hospital after being bashed by her son in front of horrified work colleagues.
Police allege the man, 26, arrived at his mother's workplace at Mt Druitt in Sydney's west about 2pm on Wednesday.
Following a verbal argument, he allegedly punched and kicked his mother repeatedly, before slamming her head on concrete.

Colleagues of the woman, who attempted to intervene, were also allegedly assaulted at the scene.
Paramedics from NSW Ambulance treated the woman for head injuries. She was taken to Westmead Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
The man was arrested at a nearby location by officers from the Mt Druitt Police Area Command following the alleged bashing.
The man, from Parramatta in Sydney's west, was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station where he was charged with causing grievous bodily harm to person with intent (domestic violence) and destroying or damaging property (domestic violence).
He was refused bail and will appear in Mt Druitt Local Court on Thursday.
Police are continuing to investigate the matter.
