Trump’s campaign gives out WRONG NUMBER when urging supporters to call Michigan's former Speaker of the House to complain about election - leaving a 28-year-old barraged with hundreds of angry calls and texts
An attempt to have supporters slam Michigan politicians by the Trump campaign has gone south after the team accidentally sent out the wrong number in their Facebook post.
On Sunday, account page Team Trump shared a 231 number that they incorrectly identified as belonging to Rep. Lee Chatfield.
In addition to the wrong number, the page also shared Senator Mike Shirkey's number in the post which called for the state to decertify election ballots. It also incorrectly identifies Chatfield as Speaker of the House, which he is no longer.
As a result, O Rose, a 28-year-old now living in California, has received 'hundreds' of calls and text messages from angry Trump fanatics believing they are Chatfield.
'I can't take any more voicemails, my voicemail has 44 voicemails in it right now,' Rose explained to the Detroit Free Press. 'Endless, endless texts. I deleted a bunch, and now that I'm thinking about it, I probably shouldn't have, because I was just overwhelmed … It's just ridiculous.'

Rose uses non-gendered they/them pronouns and goes by 'O' as a shortened version of their first name in real life.
The Team Trump's post was quickly shared by the official Donald Trump Facebook page and retweeted by legions of supporters who rallied at the prospect of voicing their frustrations at unsubstantiated voter fraud allegations.
At first, Rose was taking a humorous approach in their response to the texts. But even when they had to be more assertive about not being Chatfield, people still didn't believe them.

'I told them I was not Lee Chatfield, but they would still not believe me,' Rose added. 'It was just a string of people progressively denying reality.'
Rose has shared screenshots of the responses he has sent to people, in hopes irate Trump supporters would get the hint. The post with his number has since been deleted but was up as late as Tuesday morning.
'I'm going to have to change my number eventually, but that takes a minute to do,' Rose said.
Rose grew up in Northern Michigan, where the area code is from, but moved to California in a bid to get away from the Midwest.
'But it still follows me, apparently,' they said.
