David Curry, 45, and Wanda Plumey, 46, were arrested Wednesday after police responded to an assault at a residence in the suburban neighborhood of Madison. Pictured in this photo is a machete similar to the one Curry allegedly used.
According to a police warrant, Curry confronted the victim about food taken from the fridge, resulting in him punching the victim.
The victim then slipped on some water and fell into a window.
Overhearing the altercation, Plumely intervened and began beating the victim in the head with an oxygen tank, as Curry held the victim in a chokehold.
Curry then attempted to gouge out the victim’s eyes, before grabbing a machete and threatening to chop the victim's head off, according to the police report.
Plumey and Curry were eventually arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with a bond set at $5,000 for each.
Their photos have not been immediately released by the police.
