Two horses have had a great day frolicking in the snow after their field became covered in more than three feet of the white stuff.
Rachelle Huston posted a video of a mare enjoying a gallop around her snow-covered paddock in New York State last week.
Footage showed the horse running through a thick layer of snow as she coated herself in the freezing flakes on December 17. Another horse was filmed putting its head into the snow before licking the frozen water particles.

The brown horse wore a pink jacket to keep her coat warm against the wet snow during her adventure into the field.
Rachelle wrote: 'Now you all can enjoy the big kids’ antics.'
In the video the mare ran through the snow before kneeling down to encase herself in it. She then rolled her neck into it and shook her head before jumping back up.
The mare's ears were pricked forward, indicating her excitement and love for the weather as she ran.

She then kneeled down again and pushed the snow with her chest before jumping up and continuing her gallop to the end of the field and back, along a line in the snow she had carved.
The video quickly racked up millions of views, with commenters reveling in the horses' joy.
One said: 'Great exercise for them,' another joked: 'you don’t need a snowblader' and one added: 'I’ve watched this many times and never get tired of it.'
