Father-of-six, 29, is killed in a freak motorbike accident as his brother shares a touching tribute to the children he leaves behind just two days out from Christmas
A father-of-six has been killed in a freak motorbike accident just two days before his 29th birthday and a week before Christmas.
Luis Godinho collided head-on with another motorcycle on Mount Peter Road, Edmonton, in Cairns, on Friday around 10pm.
The young father along with his 17-year-old passenger were killed while the other rider, a 21-year-old man, was rushed to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Tributes have since flowed in for Mr Godinho as his family spend the next few days tragically planning a funeral instead of how they would have spent Christmas together.

'Luis had the ability to walk into any room and make everyone feel like everyone would be okay as long as we are together and we are happy,' his brother, Marvin, shared on a GoFundMe page for the family.
'Life is all about living in the present and no one embodied that more than Luis.
'Our lives have been turned upside down and nothing is going to mend the pain we are all feeling.'
Marvin has created the fundraiser to help support Mr Godinho's family with living and funeral expenses.
The page has already garnered more than $9,000 in donations.
The 28-year-old leaves behind his children Lucas, Nevaeh, Kiarah, Mason, Ashton, Braxton and partner Tyler.
Acting Senior Sergeant Mark Buckman said it was an extremely rare accident and throughout his 36-year career he had never seen two motorcycles collide head-on.
A GoFundMe page has been setup to raise funds for Mr Godinho's family ahead of the holiday season
