FBI still hasn't been able to identify the MAGA riot pipe bomber as they launch 'top priority' hunt to find them before Biden's inauguration tomorrow

The FBI still has not been able to identify the person who left pipe bombs at the Capitol on January 6 while thousands stormed the Capitol and agents fear they may still be active but they insist they've made it a 'top priority' to find the suspect before Biden's inauguration tomorrow.

The bomber was filmed on surveillance cameras leaving devices outside the Republican National Committee headquarters and the Democratic National Committee headquarters.

They were wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, gloves and an N-95 mask. While around 100 people have been arrested for their role in the riot and many have been charged, police are still no closer to closing in on the bomber.

The FBI has not even clarified if they think the bomber is a man or a woman.

Now, there are fears they may be 'still active' and a threat to Biden's inauguration tomorrow, according to an anonymous source cited by Fox News.

The anonymous official said the FBI has briefed other law enforcement agencies to tell them it is a 'top priority' that the suspect is found.

The FBI is currently offering a $50,000 reward to anyone with information about the bomber's identity.

The bombs that were found were both active, officials have said. They were diffused and are still being studied.

Biden's inauguration will be protected by some 25,000 National Guard troops but the threat of a insider attack is still overshadowing the event.

The Capitol is still shaken from the January 6 insurrection, when an estimated 15,000 stormed buildings in outrage over the election result.

People are so on edge that on Monday, a fire caused by a homeless woman in a tent beneath a bridge near the Capitol sent the dress rehearsal for the inauguration into a panic.

The rehearsal was called off and everyone taking part was rushed inside to shelter in place until the coast was clear.

There remain thousands of people at large after the January 6 riot.

On Monday, the FBI released photos of some of the suspects they are chasing for attacking Capitol cop Michael Fanone.

Some - including Riley June Williams who is accused of stealing Nancy Pelosi's laptop - have handed themselves in.

Now, more politicians are also blaming President Trump for inciting the riot.

Mitch McConnell on Tuesday told the Senate the President 'provoked' the attack.
