EXCLUSIVE: Angelina Jolie's brother James Haven is all smiles as he's spotted enjoying a beach picnic with a mystery blonde after hunkering down with his girlfriend during the pandemic - amid claims he's 'drifted apart' from his sister

Angelina Jolie's brother James Haven has been spotted at the beach in Malibu with a young mystery blonde. 

Haven, 47, went maskless as he laughed and chatted with his lady friend, exclusive pictures obtained by DailyMail.com show.

It comes after DailyMail.com revealed that Haven has been hunkering down with long-term girlfriend Ashley Reign during the pandemic and claims he has 'drifted apart' from his famous younger sister.

Oscar-winner Jon Voight's eldest child and his blonde pal first met at an organic juice bar in Malibu Village before moving on to nearby Malibu Lagoon recently.

A source who spotted the pair said, 'After a while they got up and went for a stroll along the beach before he walked her back to her car and they hugged'

Haven, who hadn't been seen in public for year, has been oddly seen out and about recently. Aside from his outing with the blonde woman, he was also spotted in December 

A source said, 'They spent around an hour and a half together on a blanket near the ocean at a popular spot for surfers'

An eyewitness said: 'Before they met up, James spent a while checking himself out in store windows and playing with his hair.

'Afterwards they got what looked like ice cream, walked to the beach together and then took their masks off while they chatted.

'They spent around an hour and a half together on a blanket near the ocean at a popular spot for surfers.

'James seemed to be having a lot of fun and was laughing, clapping and gesticulating wildly with his hands.

'After a while they got up and went for a stroll along the beach before he walked her back to her car and they hugged.'

Haven was recently spotted in public for the first time in years while arriving at his karate instructor girlfriend's modest home in the San Fernando Valley.

He was seen at the property repeatedly throughout November, December and this month but has not been spotted out in public with Reign during that time.

The sighting came after the 20th anniversary last year of Haven's biggest claim to fame – his kiss with younger sister Angie on the Golden Globes red carpet in 2000

It's unclear who the blonde woman is, but Haven appeared to be having a great time with the friend

The blonde martial arts enthusiast is believed to be earning money during the Covid-19 pandemic with online karate classes for kids a few times a week.

Haven previously worked with little success in movies and TV before moving on to become full-time nanny to Jolie's six children at the time of her bombshell divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016.

But he is thought to have been 'dismissed' from that role the following year and has not been seen in public with his sister in recent times.

A source said: 'Angelina and James are widely believed to have drifted apart some years ago.

'They used to be inseparable; he was very much her go-to companion and was her best friend for so many years as well as a devoted brother.

'James helped raise her kids and he would baby sit whenever Angie and Brad wanted private time. It's fair to say he was one of just a handful of people they felt comfortable looking after them.

'But all of a sudden and with no real explanation their communication seemed to just stop out of nowhere. He does his thing, she does hers and whilst they may be cordial from a distance you certainly don't see or hear of them being together.

'Obviously only they know what really happened, but it's sad and the situation doesn't look like changing any time soon.'
